The annual Celtic Calling celebration has come back to Charleston, WV. This year one of the premier shows will be at Rock City Cake Company featuring The Company Stores, a modern Appalachian rock band from right here in the capitol city. They will be performing a special Celtic set, featuring traditional Celtic folk, modern Irish rock, and of course the best of their original songs. Described by Skope Magazine as being led by “Casey Litz’s soulful, sultry vocals, screaming fiddle, and a gritty backbeat”, the band “links Appalachian folk influences with a progressive, electronic sound that isn’t afraid to break boundaries” and “explores the vastness of rock and all it has to offer.”

Opening up the night is Erin & The Wildfire, a funk and soul band from Charlottesville, VA. With powerful vocals. infectious hooks, and sensual harmonies, this band has caught the attention of so many across the region.
