Celebrities - whether in business, entertainment, sports, music, fashion, royalty or politics - play a powerful role in modern culture, shaping consumption patterns, public opinion and morality the world over. When done thoughtfully, their endorsement and creative input brings attention, credibility and other tangible and intangible benefits to a cause in a way that no other type of activity can.
Join us in this pioneering workshop that addresses the challenges unique to celebrity philanthropy: establishing credibility amidst public cynicism, creating entertaining yet impactful programs and events, selecting credible partners in the non-profit and business sectors, reputation management, fundraising, and other issues that arise when fame is the main currency to effect social good. Led by Jenny Santi, philanthropy advisor to high net worth individuals and public personalities, the program includes networking sessions and an opportunity for experiential learning through meeting peers in the sector.
At the end of the session, you are invited to join an exclusive cocktail gathering and panel discussion featuring real-life celebrity philanthropist Deepak Chopra, founder of the Chopra Foundation.
