Event description
Join us on a trip of a lifetime. Our "Celebration of Life" Cruise will start in Rome, Italy. We will visit Greece, Turkey & the Holy Land.

About this Event

You are invited to join us for our first Celebration of Life cruise. It's time for an adventure with friends and family to celebrate the joys of life and the legacies of those we love.

We will sail on Royal Caribbean's newest cruise ship, the Odyssey of the Seas. Our itinerary will include dream destinations to lands you may have only dreamed of or read about in the Bible.

Come! Celebrate Life with us. We will depart from JFK in NY on September 6. We will arrive in Rome early morning on September 7. We will have a full day in Rome to roam around and visit as many places as we can before we board our ship for departure that evening for this life-changing experience after experiencing one of the most challenging times in our lives in 2020 through the most recent events. Come! Get inspired when you visit Athens and Corinth, and other places where Jesus and his disciples walked, talked, prayed, and ate together.

This 12-Night Cruise of a lifetime isn’t for everyone. We understand everyone cannot take that much time off. But, if you can and you are a person who loves to travel...and you love visiting historical and beautiful tropical locations around the world, then you will not want to miss this trip of a lifetime. For Bible lovers, it is definitely a once in a lifetime dream vacation.

Bring your family. Bring your friends on this historical trip. Make it a family reunion, class reunion, anniversary trip, girl's trip, couples’ getaway, graduation trip, or a "gift to me," trip, this September 6-19, 2021.

For Bible scholars, teachers, preachers, and church leaders, let’s do more than read scriptures and preach sermons this year. Take your members on a field trip where Jesus walked and where Paul taught. By the grace of God come join us and experience the word, like never before.

The Odessy of the Seas cruise ship is a luxury vacation by itself. They offer world-class restaurants and entertainment. They have duty free, shopping, and spas. They even have, bumper cars, and so much more.

Rooms are limited, so you must act fast to get the best prices now. All prices quoted are for an all-inclusive package that includes: round trip airfare from New York City to Rome, Italy, all port fees and taxes, ground transportation from the airport in Rome to debarkation location, 12-night breathtaking cruise experience, all tours at each destination are on air-conditioned luxury tour buses, with our own private local tour guides, and headphones. Our tour guides are experts in their country providing us with an opportunity to see and learn even more than we could possibly learn on our own.

Travel with us and discover more. Don't just read about the Bible all your life, you must experience it. It will take your faith as a woman or man of God to an entirely new level. Visit the places you have only read about and truly enjoy a vacation of a lifetime with those you love. It is truly a trip of a lifetime for those who want a relaxing and enjoyable cruise along with great shore destinations and educational tours.

For Christians, the Bible will become alive and real to you in a very personal and spiritual way.  You will only begin to understand when you step foot onto these biblically known regions of the world.  Your faith will increase and your love for the written word of God will continue to grow.

For Jews, the Torah will become more vivid as you visit or revisit these biblical lands. It is a gift to yourself and your family that will last for a lifetime, even more, each time you read the Holy Scriptures.  The experience will increase your faith in God's word.

SEP 06 - Depart from NYC to Rome, Italy on our international overnight flight.

SEP 07 - Arrive in Rome, Italy, meet our tour representative who will transfer us to the Port of Civitavecchia to board the Odyssey of the Seas, one of Royal Caribbean's newest ships.

SEP 08 - At Sea

SEP 09 - Visit Corinth & Chenchreae - Journey to the ancient city of Corinth, where the apostle Paul met fellow tentmakers Aquila and Priscilla.  This is where Paul spoke and Crispus (Chief ruler of the Synagogue) and many other believers were baptized.  This is also where they established the church at Corinth. We will discover the Archaeological Museum, the market place, and temples.  So much to see and do to include stopping briefly at the Port Town of Cenchreae, from which Paul later departed for Syria (Acts 18:12-18).

SEP 10 - Visit Athens, Greece - Travel to the legendary city of Athens for an awe-inspiring immersion into Greek history, mythology, and might from the cruise port of Piraeus.  Upon arrival, you will begin a narrated sightseeing drive that winds past the ruins of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium, an ancient wonder reborn as the site of the first modern Olympics in 1896.  Your drive will lead to the most iconic ancient site in Greece, the Acropolis.  Climb the steep steps leading to this complex of temples and buildings dating back to the 5th century BC and built as a grand monument to thought and the arts.  Witness the Temple of Athena Nike and explore the iconic Parthenon, dedicated to the Goddess Athena, and offering sweeping panoramas overlooking the city below.  A short walk from the ruins leads to Mars Hill where Paul preached to the Athenians.

SEP 11 - At Sea - Celebration of Life - 60th Birthday Party for TJ

SEP 12 - Sea of Galilee - Venture inland to the Sea of Galilee to stand on the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached (Matthew 5).  At Tabgha, you will see the traditional locations of where the feeding of 5,000 was held. You'll visit the Church of the Fish and the Loaves.  On the shores of the Sea of Galilee is the Chapel of Primacy of St. Peter, where three times Peter professed his devotion for He is the risen Christ.  From there travel to Capernaum where Jesus called Peter, Andrew, James, and John (Matthew 4) and later Matthew to be disciples.

SEP 13 - Visit Jerusalem - Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee, and visit the synagogue built on the site where Jesus taught (Matthew 4:13, 23). On the Mount of Beatitudes, contemplate the “Sermon on the Mount” (Matthew 5-7). Explore the Church of the Fish and the Loaves at Tabgha, the traditional site of the feeding of the 5,000 (Luke 9:10-17). See the Chapel of the Primacy, where Peter professed his devotion three times to the risen Christ (John 21). In Magdala, once home to Mary Magdalene, visit a recently discovered first-century synagogue. Recall Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist

SEP 14 - At Sea

SEP 15 - Visit Rhodes, Greece - Get the real authentic Rhodes experience by explorign it on foot. The walking tour will begin in picturesque Old Town, where you will explore and learn all about Agora and Collachium, where the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem lived and worked.  Marvel at the stunning churches, exquisite Jewish quarters, the Inns of Knights, and the Palace of Grand Masters.

SEP 16 - Visit Ephesus - Ephesus is one of the Seven Churches of Revelation (Rev. 1:11) and was once a bustling port town graced with wide, colonnade-bordered streets and a population of 250,000. Although spectacular excavations have revealed much of the glory of ancient Ephesus, including the huge Agora and Library, much has been lost. The ancient world once declared the Temple of Artemis to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World but today, only a single column remains to mark its site. View the terrace houses, also known as the houses of the rich, which give a true impression of the ancient lifestyle.  Explore the Museum of Ephesus for an up-close look at ancient artifacts.

SEP 17 - At Sea

SEP 18 - Visit Naples - Today we are docked in Naples. You can choose to journey inland on an optional excursion to ancient Pompeii, dating almost to the time of Paul, where you can see the spectacular ruins that were covered by ash from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in A.D. 79. Another nice option is to visit the sunny Isle of Capri, or you may opt to wander Naples on your own. Shore excursions today will be booked directly through Royal Caribbean.
