Circumnavigator Virginia Mullin loves travel and has visited 108 countries and all seven continents. With an interest in higher education, Virginia holds a Doctorate in Psychology, specializing in Behavioral Medicine. Her first international travel experience was spending a summer attending a language program at a Goethe Institut in Germany. Professional contributions include conducting research at a hospital in South Africa, and a three-year consulting contract with Assumption University in Bangkok, Thailand, mentoring students and serving on committees. She has published her work in professional journals on cross-cultural medicine, written about her travels in American Express publications and others. Virginia has won awards in amateur photography and currently enjoys presenting travelogues to organizations.
