Celebration Event for Pedal for Purpose Finale
Event Information
Description
Bicycles Against Poverty is currently rolling out the Pedal for Purpose tour, a cross country cycling trip led by six students.
The summer tour is event-based and we're ending in NYC! Join us at the beautiful La Colombe cafe in Noho and help celebrate this 3,200+ mile journey as they finish just hours before.
Please check out www.BicyclesAgainstPoverty.org/P4Ptour for more information on BAP’s trip and see our homepage to learn about our impact in Africa.
This event is being generously co-sponsored by La Colombe and the Bucknell Alumni Club of NYC.
ABOUT BAP
Bicycles Against Poverty distributes bikes in Uganda that help with access to basic needs of life, such as transportation to health clinics, clean water, markets to trade goods, and schools. Each participant pays back for the bikes in monthly installments, just a few dollars per month, to eventually own the bicycle.
