Swim1922 Volunteers for Diversity in Aquatics Water Safety Festival

The Water Safety Day program will feature fun-filled water and non-water activities for experienced and non-experienced swimmers. We are reaching out to youth and adult groups in the Atlanta area to encourage families to bring their swimmers, neighbors, and friends to an enjoyable event and learn about safety in the water. During the event, participants will have an opportunity to learn about water safety with local groups & nationally-recognized organizations.
The goals of the event is to help participants:
o Learn the basics of water safety and how to properly use water safety equipment.
o Sign up for swimming classes, programs, and team opportunities in the Atlanta area
o Have a positive environment where they can build a relationship with the water and its benefits through mindfulness. water, and community
