Event Details

Celebrating Teaching Excellence: Honoring our Jesuit Values
Panelists:  Naser Alsharif, Pharm.D., Ph.D.; Gintaras Duda, Ph.D.; and Amy Haddad, Ph.D.

Wednesday, February 19; 11:30-1; Skutt Ballroom East (Lunch will be provided.)

Building upon our Jesuit legacy, we join to celebrate our valued educational traditions, our distinguished educators, and our visions for continuing the excellence that characterizes the Creighton educational experience.

You are invited to join this year's panelists: Naser Alsharif, Pharm.D., Ph.D.; Gintaras Duda, Ph.D.; and Amy Haddad, Ph.D. as we discuss questions such as:

  • In what ways, if any, do Jesuit values inform your teaching and energize your students' learning?
  • What are the hallmarks of a Creighton, Jesuit education?
  • How do you envision Creighton expanding upon/growing/reinventing its educational practices and what implications does that have for teachers and students?

Please join us for a lively discussion as we (audience participation expected) engage in, reflect on, and evaluate our current and imagine our future educational practices. Luncheon reservations required.
