Description
Join us as Llisa Demetrios talks about her grandparents Charles & Ray Eames – with an overview of the early years of Charles in St. Louis and Ray in Sacramento, followed by their later work together at the Eames Office. Demetrios will share images about the Eames’ work in furniture, film, architecture, design, photography, exhibits and toys, along with quotes and stories of growing up with these generous, industrious grandparents. Presentation followed by a visit to the Good Design: Stories from Herman Miller exhibition.
