About this Event
“Celebrating Black History Month with Black Physicians and Scholars” is an informative lecture series dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of Black physicians and scholars. This event will bring together high school students, pre-medical students, medical students, and physicians to serve as a breeding ground for excellence, dialogue, networking and mentorship, and inspiration. We hope this event will continue to grow, prompting an increase in the number of underrepresented students entering the medical field in addition to the number of physicians entering the workforce committed to serving communities of color.
