Event description
In anticipation of our centennial in May 2020, we are inviting you to come celebrate 99 years of the American Library.

About this Event

Join us for a special evening honoring our history, traveling decade by decade through our archives with an exhibition about our legacy, collections, community, and events from 1920 to the present. Come and learn more about the Library War Service and the origins of our collection, the Library during Occupation, and the post-war growth and move to our current permanent location.

Socialize with the Library community, enjoy light refreshments, and hear remarks from Director Audrey Chapuis.

Mark this important moment in the Library's history by sharing your stories and memories with our videographer. A special centennial testimonial video to be released next year.

This fundraising event marks the beginning of Project 100, our centennial campaign to fund new spaces and programs that are important to you. Whatever the Library means to you, you can be a part of creating the Library of the future, for our current community and beyond.
