About this event

Public Radio Tulsa is celebrating NPR’s 50th Anniversary with Founding Mother Linda Wertheimer and All Things Considered Host Ailsa Chang in a special virtual event! Join us for an evening with Linda Wertheimer and Ailsa Chang, hosted by Public Radio Tulsa’s Rich Fisher, Thursday evening, August 5th at 7:00 p.m. This event is free but registration is required.

Ailsa Chang is a current host of All Things Considered and award-winning reporter. Linda Wertheimer is an NPR pioneer and senior national correspondent. They'll speak on the progression of public broadcasting and women in journalism.

Join us to learn more about the leaders behind public radio in its beginning and as we know it today. Come prepared with your own questions to ask, too! There is no fee to this virtual event but donations are encouraged to support more events like this. To make your donation, please visit here.

Special thanks to our event sponsor FarmBar!
