Celebrating 40 Years of Banner

Join us for Banner Neighborhood’s 40th Anniversary Block Party which will be held on August 20th 2022, in Baltimore, MD. The block party will celebrate the organizations 40th year advocating for the East Baltimore community.

Please support our fundraiser starting at $50 to receive Mission BBQ and Banner swag at the Block Party! Supporters will be automatically be entered into our Orioles game ticket raffle. Tickets are for Friday, September 9 against the Boston Red Sox!

Banner Neighborhoods is a nonprofit organization, based in East Baltimore City that seeks to engage and enrich the community it serves by providing access to resources and specialized programming.

Founded in 1982, Banner was originally created to address resource gaps within urban communities in east Baltimore which were overflowing with vacant homes. Banner assisted older adults with home maintenance and repairs so that they could age in place. In 2000, Banner began advocacy for youth in the community by implementing programs and extracurricular activities.
