Come out and celebrate as we honor highly accomplished High School Graduates and Adults held in high esteem within the Diaspora.
The Society of Ethiopians Established in the Diaspora (SEED), one of the longest serving Ethiopian nonprofit organizations in the United States is commemorating 30 years of Excellence – Celebrating the “Mighty Diaspora” on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Join us in celebrating this year’s honorees, visionary leaders, and organizations in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the spheres of academics, business, technology, art, humanitarian efforts, exemplary leadership, and distinguished service to bring a positive impact to our community and country.
SEED will proudly honor the following individuals and organizations for their excellence in their respective fields: Prince Asfa-Wossen Assrate, Ph.D, Ustaz Jemal Beshir, Mrs. Rebecca Haile, Ms. Ethiopia Habtemariam, Dr. Lishan Kassa, Dr. Brook Lakew, Mr. Henok Tesfaye, Deacon Yoseph Tafari, Mr. Elias Wondimu, The Habesha Kids and Leadership, The American Ethiopian Public Affairs Committee (AEPAC).
SEED looks forward to continuing the tradition of celebrating and honoring high school graduates. We will also look back to see where our past high school honorees are now, as we planted a seed in each of them years ago. We have a special honorary booklet of our distinguished past high school honorees to showcase how far they have grown.
