Join us at Treasure Island Wines to celebrate the magic of spring bud break Sunday April 18th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Enjoy fine wine-food pairings including new releases just in time for spring feasting. Winemakers Jim Mirowski, Dennis Hayes and new TIW winemaker Cindy Cosco of Passaggio will be featuring early releases:
- Treasure Island Wines 2018 Vintage Brut Sparkling, Napa Valley - Our first sparkling release is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir.
- Umbriaso 2017 Benchmark Tuscan Blend – Our new release of this acclaimed Old World style Super Tuscan combines Sangiovese (Solano Green Valley) and Syrah (Dry Creek Valley)
- Umbriaso 2019 Bianco Altopiano – Our crisp, high-elevation Sauvignon Blanc (Pine Mountain Cloverdale Peak) balances Mayacama mineral with citrus notes Asian Pear and Green Apple.
- Treasure Island Wines 2020 Grenache Rosé, North Coast – A new release!
- Passaggio 2017 GSMRed Blend, Clarksburg. Bright red fruit, spice slight tannins and good acidity. 43% Syrah, 29% Grenache, 28% Mouvedre.
We'll also be pouring a variety of wines to complement our menu of select Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Tomato Soup Shooters from our friends at American Grilled Cheese Kitchen:
- MOUSETRAP - Tillamook cheddar, creamy Havarti, Monterey Jack on local sourdough
- CUBANO - Monterey Jack, Jarlsberg, cocoa rubbed pulled pork, cured ham, stone ground mustard, bread n' butter pickles, pickled red onions, and chipotle butter on country whole grain
- PIGLET - Cheddar, Gouda, caramelized apple spread, artisan cured ham, seasoned tomatoes, stone ground mustard, and rosemary butter on country whole grain
