Event description

Description

The Center for Ethics and Leadership invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, guests and friends to a lunchtime discussion on Should Trees Have Legal Standing to Sue Humans for Damaging Forests?

Today’s Fusion will suggest that trees should be able to sue humans for cutting them down. Honest. If colleges have rights to people’s estates after they’re dead and can sue when harmed, why not trees, too?

Lunch (with vegetarian options) will be provided with a RSVP. Seats go fast! Please register soon.

You can find driving directions, campus map, and visitor parking info at https://www.stedwards.edu/contact-us/main-campus-united-states.
