Teaching Clinically Relevant Medicinal Chemistry Based on

 Solid Pedagogy & Instructional Methodology

 Dr. Naser Alsharif has developed and published several innovative methods in teaching clinically relevant medicinal chemistry. This CE courseis intended for pharmacy faculty teaching medicinal chemistry and hasrelevant strategies for healthcare faculty teaching science courses. This course is intended to help faculty build on their medicinal chemistry knowledge and incorporate different strategies and adapt them to introduce clinical relevance into the teaching of their medicinal chemistry courses or science courses.  This course can be beneficial for pharmacology and therapeutics faculty as well as practicing pharmacists to help them revisit why drugs do what they do based on established structure activity relationships (SAR) and how the SAR impact pharmacological and therapeutic action.

  • Discuss strategies to introduce clinical relevance in medicinal chemistry instruction

  • Apply clinically relevant strategies to teaching medicinal chemistry

  • Assess student learning in medicinal chemistry

Continuing Education Credit

You need to view the entire program to receive credit. To receive credit, you will need to receive 75 percent on the quiz and case study at the end of each module. Upon successful completion of all modules, and completion of the evaluation, a certificate will be available for you to print. You will have three attempts to complete each quiz.

Cancellations and Refunds

Registrations must be canceled in writing or via email. No refunds after 30 days from the date of registration. In all other cases, a refund of registrations fees will be made less a $25 administrative fee.
