Event description

Description

You’re invited. Join us for this meeting of CEA’s new Retailer Council. All CEA Retailer members—large or small / brick-and-mortar or online—all categories of consumer electronics retailers are invited.

Registration is FREE.

Why you should participate in the Retailer Council:

  • CEA is not just a manufacturers’ association. CEA’s retailer membership is growing.
  • CEA is your industry trade association. The Retailer Council provides a home within CEA where consumer electronics retailers’ interests are represented and your voice can be heard.
  • There’s no board, no election—just show up!

CEA’s Retailer Council is an open forum, a collaborative body within which retailers can identify and deal with common issues and business challenges that cross product categories and vertical business structures. Your participation provides you with the opportunity to be a retail leader at the industry level. And, because the Council is just forming, you can provide direction and help set its course.

Why you should attend this Retailer Council Meeting:

  • Increase the value of your CEA membership
  • Meet and network with other CEA Retailer members
  • Get new ideas from leading retail authorities

A One Day Program With Actionable Take-aways

The day kicks-off with a Retail Market Analysis and Forecast from CEA’s industry analyst and ends with the “Wrap-up.” Kirk Chittick of Making Customers, Inc. will facilitate a question-and-answer session highlighting action steps to implement in your business to create a successful ‘new normal’ in the ‘new economy!’

Complementary “Great Ideas” Presentations

These two complementary presentations are all about making sales and making customers in today’s retail marketplace.

Bob Phibbs, The Retail Doctor

Bob’s presentation will leave you inspired to change the way you do business. His presentation will begin the groundwork for “it’s different here” in your storefront or showroom by concentrating on “your own four walls.” Some of the highlights will include:

  • Presentation is everything – What’s happening to your showroom?
  • Using technology correctly – What’s the impact?
  • Customer service – Where did it go?
  • Retail salespeople – What’s wrong?
  • Making sales – Train your people and reinvigorate your business

By the end of Bob’s presentation, you will take away ideas that will shake-up your business and help grow your sales.

Mike Moore, Making Customers, Inc.
If You Want To Increase Sales...Stop Selling!

“Stop Selling” addresses the dysfunctional consumer and salesperson relationship that exists today in the ‘new economy.’ Mike will share how most companies, executives, sales managers and sales trainers have been handing out a ‘sales repellent virus’ for years that has created this dysfunctional relationship. Then he’ll share the antidote, a ‘sales attraction potion’, and how to start handing it out to heal this relationship and reap the benefits.

In “Stop Selling,” you’ll learn how to sell, train, manage and motivate salespeople to build relationships that make customers, increase sales and grow a business. Learn how you can create the relationship most businesses have been trying to create for years but have unknowingly sabotaged with poor intentions.
