Event description

Description

Do you, or your clients, struggle with self-doubt despite significant personal and professional accomplishments or worry that others will find out that you are a "fraud" or "impostor"?

This workshop, given by Bracha Poliakoff, LCSW-C, will provide mental health professionals with a deeper understanding of imposter syndrome and its effect on mental health professionals and those they serve.

In addition, participants will learn a number of effective cognitive-behavioral techniques that can be used to increase self-efficacy and confidence, while decreasing self-doubt and anxiety, for those who struggle with impostor syndrome.

Participants will earn 3 Category 1 CEUS.

Refreshments will be served.

Bracha Poliakoff, LCSW-C is the founder and director of Bright Ideas CEUs as well as a clinical social worker currently serving as the Admissions Liaison for Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital's Partial Hospitalization Program. She also has experience conducting psychological assessments and providing individual and group counseling to children and adults in a variety of settings including school-based (children), outpatient (children and adults), and long-term care facilities (older adults).
