Description

Students will explore large scientific databases and find interesting facts about galaxies, proteins, fish, weather, and more. This camp will provide students with a project-based introduction to coding and computer technology in an informal and fun environment. Engaging talks by LSU faculty will be included. Students will learn from the experts how to deal with huge amounts of data and be "scientists for a day". The goal of the program is to promote interests in STEM careers among children.

REGISTRATION: $130/person. Supplies, lunches and snacks are provided during the camp. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from LSU's campus. Limited seats available so register early.
