CCOPE - Canadian Conference Of Photo Educators 2017
Thu, May 25, 2017, 2:00 PM – Sun, May 28, 2017, 4:00 PM
The Canadian Conference of Photo Educators (CCOPE) is being hosted at Durham College this year, May 25th – 28th. We are excited to host the conference as we have not brought photo-educators together since 2014 at Fanshawe College, in London. The goal of the conference is to broaden the horizons of photo-educators across the country and in turn benefit our students. The theme this year is "A World of Opportunities" with speakers from various segments of the industry highlighting how they stand out in their particular field. From product presentations through to inspirational talks and round-table discussions this is a great opportunity for college, university and technical school photo-educators from across the country, as well as local high school teachers, to explore and discuss opportunities in the educational field.
We currently have the following sponsors/speakers: PANASONIC Presents | Edward Gajdel topic “Non-Linear Portraits”, SONY Presents | Katrin Eismann topic “Serving Our Students”, FUJIFILM Presents | The Fuji Guys topic “The Future of Mirrorless”, PROFOTO + MAGMOD Presents | Raph Nogal topic “The Potential of Off Camera Flash”, Nikon Presents | Sam Sciarrino topic "The Importance of Printing" and METROLAND Photojournalist | Ryan Pfeiffer.
