Description

Masters Individual, 35 and up here is your chance to showcase your skills! Circle City Martial Arts and Fitness invites you to join us for a day full of fun, fitness, and competition! This Masters competition is perfect for Beginner and Intermediate athletes that are 35 years and older.

We have 2 divisions: RX and SC
Format: 3 WODs + Final championship WOD

-At least be able to perform the movements in the given WOD.

-The final 4 athletes in each category will compete in a final event. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners. Scoring will be cumulative. Participants will receive a competition shirt and other goodies from our sponsor.

Come out, have fun, and participate in some healthy competition.

Event cost: $50 for CCMAF member @ front desk

$60 for Individual

Price increase: $70 after Sept 16th.

WOD 1: Finish Your Plate or Burp, Clean and Pull!

3 rds FT:

400m Plate Run 25/15 15/10

10 Hang Squat Clean 115/80 95/65

15 Pull Up 15 Jumping Pull ups

RX: 3 rounds for time of a 400 m weighted run (25/15 lb plate), Plate may be carried however athlete pleases. 5 burpee penalty will be given if weight touches ground. 10 hang squat cleans (115/80 lbs), Bar must be above the knee at the start and full knee and hip extension before going into squat, hips must go below the knees in the squat.15 pull ups. Chin must go above the bar.

Scaled: 3 rounds for time of a 400 m weighted run (15/10 lb plate) Same rules apply in scaled and RX. 10 hang squat cleans (95/65 lbs), same rules apply in scaled and RX. 15 jumping pull ups. Bar must be 6 inches above the head when standing up. Full extention of arms above head at the start of pull up, and chin must go above the bar.
