CCIA's 40th Anniversary Celebration
Event Information
Description
CCIA's 40th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Tuesday, March 19 beginning at 6pm at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. As we commemorate our proud history fighting for full, fair, and open competition, we'll take a look back at the battles that forged our unique industry position, talk with some of our allies gained along the way, and look forward to the tech issues on the horizon.
Cocktails and hors d'oevres will be served on the mezzanine level beginning at 6pm. The 2nd floor museum galleries will be open for viewing at that time and the scheduled exhibition will feature the work of Danish artist, Anna Archer.
In addition to the presentation of the John H. Chapman Award for Outstanding Public Service, our program will include remarks from:
- Senator Ron Wyden (D-Wa.)
- Fadi Chehade, President & CEO of ICANN
- Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-Ca.)
