Your kids can ENJOY learning Mandarin this summer!
Learning another language can be a real challenge! Unfortunately, common teaching methods that rely too heavily on “drill-and-kill” can can make language classes feel stifling. While students may perform well on tests, they do not learn to love using the language.
In the CCC Mandarin Summer Camp, kids have fun and feel successful while learning Mandarin. For example, instead of just looking at the board and repeating new vocabulary words over and over, kids in our program play exciting games and activities that repeatedly use the target vocabulary and phrases. By the time they have finished these games, they have used the new language repeatedly in different situations…enabling them to learn while having fun! This sense of play is all-important for kids. Research consistently shows that kids learn better and use their new language more often when they are enjoying themselves.
Space is limited to 14 kids, so sign up now!
