Description
Join Columbia Business School Alumni Club of Metro DC for an exclusive whisky tasting event and 3-course meal at Jack Rose Dining Saloon. Balvenie Whisky experts will be on hand to take you through a delicious flight of whiskeys while you mingle and network with alumni in one of Jack Rose's luxurious private dining rooms. We'll also provide an opportunity to discuss upcoming events and opportunities to engage with the club and enhance professional development in DC.
The marks that you will be sampling in a private dining area include: the Balvenie 12 Doublewood; Balvenie 14; Caribbean Cask, and Balvenie 21 Portwood.

About the organizer
Tija has performed around the country, touring with the Moth Mainstage, including at the hallowed Apollo Theater. She has appeared on the Risk! podcast, and on Upworthy, where her work has been heard by millions. Most recently, her work has appeared in Slate,, and she has coached executives in storytelling from American Express, CNN, Refinery29, the WWE, and various asset management and private equity firms. She has also received very generous grant funding and fellowship support from DC government and cultural institutions, which has allowed her to create and perform in sold-out solo shows. She wrote sketch comedy at Second City (Chicago) and now has a regular storytelling showcase at Caveat in New York City called "Mistakes Were Made".
Tija has an MBA from Columbia Business School and uses her nearly two decades in strategy consulting and innovation to bridge the gap that exists at the intersection of art, communications, and business. She is a regular presenter at private conferences and concerts and is available to provide storytelling consulting to organizations large and small.
