CBEX Presents: Rob Slee
Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM (EDT)
Come join us for breakfast and a conversation with Rob Slee, internationally acclaimed author, speaker, and business executive, and learn how the Value Renaissance is creating a paradigm shift in privately held businesses.
It is known that privately held businesses constitute 99.7 percent of American companies, generate more than half of GDP, and create eight of every 10 new jobs. What is largely unknown is that nearly three-quarters of these businesses are not increasing in value. As the founder of MidasNation and Robertson & Foley, Rob knows about building value and creating financial independence. He will share some of his secrets of empowering owners of privately held businesses to do the same for their organizations.
Rob will discuss how business school programs have traditionally prepared students for middle-management jobs in corporate America, but have rarely helped new managers acquire the strategies and skills needed to succeed amid the nuances and challenges of the private business environment. With his network of more than 100,000 global professionals, Rob is changing that and arming veteran and emerging managers with fresh approaches to create value and secure financial independence.
Doors will open at 7:00 am. A full hot breakfast will be served from 7:00 am to 7:45 am, with Rob's presentation to follow. We will wrap up the morning by 9:00 am. Please note that breakfast will not be available during the presentation.
