Charlotte Business Exchange and The McColl School of Business want you to know about the exciting CBEX Speaker Series event Friday October 14. We are delighted to host Rodrigo Jordán to share leadership lessons he learned in the mountains and applies as a business and social entrepreneur.
Rodrigo Jordán is from Santiago Chile and is the Founder and President of Vertical S.A. He is widely recognized in the development of leadership, innovation and social development. His work includes the Wharton Leadership Ventures program, the McColl School of Business' BB&T Leadership Challenge and the National Geographic Society expedition to Antarctica.
Jordán was recognized by Time magazine in 1995 as a leader of the “next millennium". He is one of Chile's most accomplished mountaineers with successful expeditions to Everest, K2, Mount Lhotse, Antarctica and Greenland. When not working or exploring, he also directs the non-profit Fundación Vertical, serving underprivileged students from the poorest schools in Chile, and promoting the enjoyment, responsible use and conservation of the environment. Since 1994, Jordán has served on the National Foundation for Overcoming Poverty in Chile.
