About this Event

The European CBD Tour is a series of events featuring entrepreneurs and experts at the forefront of innovation and legal & regulatory change curated by ACTIVE, the pan-European Association for Cannabinoids, Terpenes and Innovative Ventures in Europe.

Past and future events include a roundtable with a MP at tech accelerator The Family (video) and a conference at the European Parliament.

Speakers:

Antonin Cohen is the founder and CEO of Harmony, an international wellness company using hemp as a tool to bring real harmony to people’s lives. With a multi-lingual team of 40 employees and a distribution network in 42 countries, Harmony transforms the potential of nature into beloved products all over the world. Before Harmony, Antonin spent 12 years building VC-backed tech startups like Hotel Tonight — developing strong expertise in product, marketing, business development, and operations.

Frederik Hendriksen is Co-Head of International Expansion at Mile High Labs, one of the world's largest extractors of CBD. Frederik has a background in entrepreneurship and investment banking. Frederik was part of Groupon’s expansion in Japan and China, he has spent time in Africa working with venture capital. Before joining Mile High Labs, he spent 5 years at Morgan Stanley in London in equities trading and M&A.

Eveline Van Keymeulen is a Counsel at Allen & Overy and heads the firm’s Life Sciences Regulatory practice. Eveline is a specialist in EU and national regulations related to cannabis/hemp-based products and has advised numerous clients, from start-ups to large corporations as well as trade associations. She is also involved in the first referral related to “well-being” cannabis products before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Laurène Tran is the executive director of ACTIVE. She is the main author of the first policy reports on CBD in France and in Europe with the contributions of several elected officials and experts. She is also an adjunct lecturer in tech & policy at Sciences Po Paris.
