Make your own accordion book and fill it with a few winter sketches. We will learn a simple accordion book making technique then decorate the covers of the sketchbook with decorative hand made paper, add a ribbon and finally sketch a few wintery subjects in your sketchbook. This is a perfect gift for yourself or a loved one. You will have a choice of pen and ink or colored pencils. We will be using hot press watercolor paper to make your take home sketchbook (so you will be able to use it later for watercolor sketches if you so desire.) All artistic levels welcome in class.

Student notes: Please bring any plant material you would like to use for your sketches, a poinsettia leaf, pine cone or a wintery branch that inspires you. All other materials will be provided for class use. You will also receive one of Dorota’s winter botanical cards, and participate in a raffle full of surprises.

Payment can be made by calling the Gallery at (503) 436-4426 or by clicking here!
Our regular Gallery hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm
