Sustainable Urban Vegetable Production Class
Participants in UDC's CAUSES ( College of Agriculture Urban Sustainibility and Environmental Sciences) Urban Vegetable Production class will learn scientific principles that support traditional farming systems. This course teaches the eight essential aspects that are the foundation of biointensive growth methods, including: double-dug, raised beds, composting, intensive planting, companion planting, carbon farming, calorie farming, use of open-pollinated seeds, and a whole-system farming methods.
