Cause Tuesday Happy Hour with CKGW

Kesem is a nationwide nonprofit that supports kids through and beyond a parent’s cancer. As the George Washington Chapter, we provide a free overnight summer camp for 110+ DMV-area children, as well as a year-round community. Our services aim to create a safe, fun space where kids can be themselves — unburdened by the stressors of a family member’s cancer.

Our Cause Tuesday event [Family and Alumni Happy Hour] aims to help raise money to help us reach our $120,000 goal for the year. Our fundraising goal allows us to send 110+ kids to camp, hopefully expanding the number of families we can serve this year. Reaching this goal would allow us to provide robust camp programming and year-round support to continue serving kids through and beyond a parent’s cancer.
