The Catholic’s DIVORCE SURVIVAL Guide

What: Top Catholic personalities bring hope, healing, wisdom and even wit to those who are separated or divorced. This is a professionally produced 12-week DVD based peer support group for finding the Peace, Power, and Passion that may have been lost through divorce or separation.

Where: Our next session begins on Monday, May 2nd at 6:30 PM at Our Lady of Fatima (Classroom M) in Modesto (505 W. Granger Ave.).

The cost is $40 per person* and includes a “Personal Survival Guide,” light refreshments and all materials for 12 weeks. Find comfort and counsel consistent with Catholic teachings. Sorry, onsite child care is not available.

Who: Popular Catholic author and frequent media guest Rose Sweet has written and produced this powerful series featuring divorced Catholic men and women who share their inspiring, true stories. Unlike any other program, the series also includes insights from some of the brightest and best in Catholic media:

  • Dr. Ray Guarendi – Catholic psychologist, host of “The Doctor is In” Ave Maria Radio; EWTN TV show host “Living Right with Dr. Ray”
  • Father Mitch Pacwa – EWTN television host, author and a child of divorce
  • Father Donald Calloway – Author, speaker, and a child of divorce
  • Christopher West – Theologian, author, speaker on Theology of the Body
  • Father Steve Porter – Seasoned spiritual director and host of Catholic TV’s “Divine Intervention”

Why: Too many people stay stuck in their pain and don’t know how to find their way “home” after the breakdown of their marriage. This program was created to move the divorced or separated Catholic away from the pain of divorce so they can find the only Love that truly satisfies. The Love that never leaves, never fails. The Love of Jesus Christ.

How: Topics included in the series include shock, denial, fear, anger, depression, loneliness, financial issues, battles in court, custody and visitation, annulment, dating again, marriage, sex, chastity, and singleness.

*Only 12 seats are available. Please don't wait. Reserve your seat today. If you decide to continue with the entire 12-week support group, the cost is $40 per person payable by cash or check before the fourth session.

Adult Singles Ministry

In every way that matters to God, human beings are completely equal and completely loved. Our Adult Singles Ministry is a safe place for single (never married, dating, single parent) and single-again (divorced, annulled, widowed, separated) adults to connect with God and others through social, spiritual and service activities.

More single people live alone today than at any other time in our nation's history. According to the 2010 U.S. Census Bureau, 48% of all adults 18 and older are either widowed, divorced, separated or never married and less than 20% attend church on a regular basis. If you or someone you know is single or single-again, please come and experience a ministry devoted to the greatest living single adult, Jesus Christ.
