Applications open for inaugural Cathay Pacific 24-Hour Hackathon
The contest, which takes place on 22-23 October at Cathay City, will give participants the opportunity to use technological innovation to enhance the customer travel experience. Get ready for a 24-hour fast paced innovation and coding experience bringing together developers and designers! Collaborate to build unique applications that help to deliver a "Life Well Traveled" experience.

Note that if you're applying with a team, each member must submit an application.
Maximum of 150 applicants will be selected for the event.
Application results will be communicated before 12 October, 2016.
Current University students, Non-University students or Industry professionals
Applicants must apply in one of the following categories:
Entrepreneur, Designer, or Developer.
A minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members per team.
(Pre-formed team/ individual are welcome)
Grand prize - Free round trip ticket to any Cathay Pacific network destination for each team member
Second prize - Free round trip ticket to any Dragonair network destination for each team member
Third prize - 50,000 Asia Miles for the team, and 1:200-scale Cathay Pacific aircraft models
Popular vote prize - 10,000 Asia Miles for the team, and 1:500-scale Cathay Pacific aircraft models
Enhance the customer experience prior to getting aboard their flight. More specific touchpoints include online bookings, research, travel to airport, checkins, luggage, trip planning, and more!
Improve passengers' in-flight experience when they fly with Cathay Pacific. Brainstorm solutions in customer touchpoints including in-flight entertainment, internet connectivity, catering service and much more.
The customer journey does not end once passengers deplane. Solutions may relate to touchpoints including luggage retrieval, airport navigation, transportation, customer feedback, and countless others.
