About this Event

What is the Futurebound Summit?

Futurebound is a movement of entrepreneurs, investors, nonprofits and other public- and private-sector leaders coming together to fuel innovation in child development. Our next generation is depending on us—and we can’t afford to wait. The Futurebound Summit is a time to catalyze the Colorado ecosystem focused on young children by bringing everyone together.

Futurebound is partnering with Uncharted to host a four-day summit in Denver that will bring together ventures, investors, leading experts, policymakers and more for a series of events and workshops that will supercharge innovation to change the future of child development.

Catalyst Session: "Moonshots and Quick Wins: Design Thinking for the Futurebound Ecosystem"

What is the Futurebound ecosystem? How do people perceive it? What value add do they believe it has or will have? This session will be about opening lines of thinking, communication, and brainstorming about Futurebound and diving into this concept of building an ecosystem together. By design, the session will be open-ended, allowing for emergence and new questions to arise, rather than seeking to arrive at answers or solutions.

The session will include small group discussions and mixing people up to have diverse groups. There will be various prompts and provocations to trigger thinking, and then discussions and brainstorming will occur around three to four rounds of key topics.

By the end, participants will:

  1. Have a clearer understanding of the concept of an ecosystem,
  2. Build working definitions of what a social ecosystem means and how that fits into the vision of Futurebound,
  3. Will develop questions that are yet to be answered but will propel more strategic thinking and planning for the future of Futurebound.

Agenda

  • Each session will be a combination of discussion and facilitated activities with attendees.
