Cask and Clam Fest: Flights and Bites Cask Night
Thu, May 11, 2017, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
**Tickets On Sale April 1, 2017**
Join us for our third "Flights and Bites" Night at the Ipswich Ale Brewer's Table. Each participant will receive a flight of beers (one cask ale, one dry-hopped cask ale, and two draft beers), paired with 4 food offerings. Staff at the Ipswich Ale Brewery will lead you in a guided tasting experience to compare and contrast cask ales to draft beers. Special guests include brewers at the Ipswich Ale Brewery and Randy Baril, cask ale enthusiast and author of “Hosting Cask Ale Events.”
Tickets (available for purchase online only) cost $25 and include the flight of beers and four paired bites. Must be 21+ to attend. Seating begins at 6:30pm and the program begins promptly at 7pm. The event ends at 8:30pm, but the restaurant is open until 11pm, so all are welcome to stay to enjoy more food and beer. Additional beer, wine, soda, and food is available for purchase at the restaurant.
All proceeds from the Cask and Clam Week will be donated to local nonprofits working to preserve the clamming industry, including the Green Crab R&D Project and the Ipswich River Watershed Association. See the full list of events at www.ipswichalebrewery.com/caskandclam.html
