Event Details

Puakea Foundation Casino Night BannerUncle Bobby has been working for decades under the leanest and meanest of conditions to restore koa canoes, build hand-made paddles, and teach others the art of Hawaiian canoeing. First out of a ramshackle collection of tents attached to his garage at him home, and then at Heʻeia Park, under open tents and suffering the loss of thousands of dollars of tools by theft.

The tide has turned though and we now have plans drawn up for an official learning center and new hale to house the canoe restoration work. Our Annual Meeting in April 2013 will also serve as a fun Casino Night Fundraiser to raise funds to build the Puakea Learning Center.

Includes 1 Drink, Heavy Pūpū, Entertainment, and 50 “Bobby Bucks” to start your gaming! We will have hundreds of dollars of prizes to be given away and a Silent Auction too!

Doors open at 4 pm with music by Holunape. Music continues, cocktails availablae starting at 5 pm, and more!
