Event Details

On Sunday, March 25th at 1 p.m. join educators for a family-friendly guided hike on the grounds of the Cary Institute.

 

Explore vernal pools and discover early spring life while searching for amphibian egg masses. Learn about the extraordinary diversity of life that inhabits vernal pools as well as their ecological importance. Participants should be prepared for the possibility of getting their feet wet!

 

The hike will begin at our auditorium parking lot, located at 2801 Sharon Turnpike (Rte. 44) in Millbrook, N.Y. In the event of severe weather, the program will cancelled. For more information call (845) 677-7600 x121. Please note that we appreciate all cancellations be made as promptly as possible as we often have people on a waiting list.
