Carter House Extended Tour

Join us for a comprehensive walking tour of the Carter House. The Extended tour at Carter House will begin with a brief history of the site, and lead into a detailed walk of the property. Guests will begin outside with a brief overview of the early history of the site and the Carter family before heading inside the home. The tour will then lead guests through the family garden where a detailed discussion of the battle will occur. The tour will end with a direct focus on slavery, how it led to secession, and was ultimately destroyed by the war.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Online ticket sales end 24 hours before scheduled tour, however walk-ins are welcome.
