Who can attend this event?

This event is open to all Murdoch University students interested in graphic design, from first-year to final-year students. Alumni and industry professionals are also welcome to participate in the panel.

Do I need to be studying graphic design to come along?

Not at all! While the focus is on graphic design, students from related creative fields (like communication, media, or marketing) are encouraged to join if they’re curious about design careers.

Is this a formal event?

Nope, it’s relaxed and welcoming. Think of it as an opportunity to learn, chat, and connect. Casual attire is fabulous.

Yes! Light catering and refreshments will be provided.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself, your curiosity, and maybe a notebook if you’d like to jot down advice from the alumni panel.

How much does it cost?

It’s completely free, but spots are limited, so make sure you register to secure your place.

Where exactly is the Rosemary van den Berg Room?

The Rosemary van den Berg Room is located on the fourth floor of building 360, Boola Katitjin. We’ll also have signage on the day to help you find your way.

Will there be opportunities to ask questions to the alumni panel?

Yes! There’ll be a Q&A session during the panel, and you can also chat with alumni informally during the networking portion.
