Event description

Description

Two brothers: One fighting for boxing glory, the other fighting for his life.

June 3, 1989. The Louisa Centre, Stanley: Glenn McCrory re-wrote boxing history when he became the Cruiserweight Champion of the World - the very first world boxing champion from the North East... inspired by his terminally ill brother, David.

This highly emotional and remarkable comedy drama reflects the highs and many lows of Glenn's unrelenting drive to become world champion.

WRITTEN BY ED WAUGH

DIRECTED BY RUSSELL FLOYD
