About this event
Come celebrate Christmas with us in St. Mary's Cathedral Killarney on Sunday 4 December. This Christmas gala concert has been organised by Kerry Scotia Ensemble and Dr Sharon Lyons in aid of Down Syndrome Kerry. All profits from tickets sales after costs and all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Down Syndrome Kerry.

The concert will feature Christmas classics sung by Kerry Concert Choir and St. Mary's Cathedral Choir and accompanied by Kerry Scotia Ensemble, Kerry's only professional string orchestra. Sing-a-long with the choir to favourites like Silent Night, Adeste Fideles, Hark the Herald, In the Bleak Midwinter and many more.
The concert will also feature performances from internationally acclaimed soprano Sharon Lyons and special guest, the award winning countertenor Nils Wanderer. They will perform songs from Messiah and well as other Christmas favourites, also accompanied by the Kerry Scotia Ensemble. Finally, Kerry Scotia Ensemble will play arrangements of some holiday classic like White Christmas, Chestnuts Roasting and Carol of the Bells.
There will be a raffle with prizes to be won on the night.
