Carol Gillian, Ph.D. is a writer, activist, University Professor at New York University, and the author of, In a Different Voice, “the little book that started a revolution.” A member of the Harvard faculty for over 30 years, she held the university’s first chair in Gender Studies. Her books include: The Birth of Pleasure, Joining the Resistance, and most recently, Darkness Now Visible: Patriarchy’s Resurgence and Feminist Resistance with David Richards. With her graduate students at NYU, she founded the Radical Listening Project.

About the Event

University of Chicago surface parking lots are free and open after 4:00pm. The closest lots are #6 Wells, #8 Woodlawn Social Services Center, and #9 Edelstone.
