Our panel of staff experts will talk about Levithan's books, introduce you to authors and books with similar styles and themes, plus share new LGBT fiction coming to our shelves. No registration required. Join us in the Reading Room from 7-8 p.m. for an evening of lively conversation.

David Levithan is a prolific young adult fiction author and editorial director at Scholastic Press. He is the founding editor of Scholastic's PUSH imprint, which publishes socially-conscious teen literature.

Levithan's first of 22 novels, Boy Meets Boy (2003), is one of his many works featuring young gay male characters. Other books include Every Day (2012), Another Day (2015) and his latest, You Know Me So Well (2016). He collaborated with author John Green on Will Grayson, Will Grayson (2010) and with Rachel Cohn on four titles including Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist (2006) which was adapted into a movie.

Composer Michael Shank worked with Levithan to master his critically acclaimed Two Boys Kissing (2013) into a touring choral theater production of the same name. Columbus Gay Men's Chorus is performing the oratorio concert March 10-11 at the Lincoln Theater. Tickets available at
