On Sunday June 6th, Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester, INC (GCLER) will host Carnaval Exhibition, an event dedicated to showcasing the process to create the outfits for the dances and traditions of various Latin American countries during the celebratory event universally known as Carnaval. The event will include folkloric dance performances, live music, and an exhibition of intricate dresses from Puerto Rico, Panama, Colombia, Mexico and more. Each component of will incorporate lessons about the history of carnivals and the Latino culture and folklore.
