About Carmichael:

Listen | Watch Video

Carmichael is a five-piece band born and located in the middle of Indiana. Its members are Eric Carmichael on guitar and vocals, Nick Christie on guitar and vocals, Lindsay Harness on upright bass and vocals, Costin Ritter on drums and percussion, and Jamie Mahan on keys.

Carmichael creates unique and varied musical pieces that challenge the band's genre categorization. Their catalogue has been classified in everything from Rock, Alt-Country, Americana, Neo-Folk, Tex-Mex, Soul, Alternative to Indie Rock. Each song provides a new blend of sounds from the previous. Carmichael utilizes the vocal talents of its members by switching lead vocalists and employing harmonies.

The band's primary focus, beneath the surface of the musical arrangements, is the content of the lyrics and the artistic aim of the writer. Alongside refined harmonies, noteworthy musicianship, and varied style, Carmichael's songs offer a deeper region of examination and reflection for its listeners.

About Airpark:

Recognizing with universal understanding that time is a precious and ever-fleeting commodity, below are all the pertinent informational points for Airpark’s upcoming EP release...

-Airpark is a Nashville-based duo - comprised of brothers Ben Ford and Michael Ford, Jr. – that formed in early 2017. People often think that they're twins, but they're not; however, the archetypal mystic sibling connection is very much there.

-Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley (Tennis) produced and recorded the band’s new record in Denver, CO over nine days at their studio, Mutually Detrimental.

-Said EP is entitled Songs of Airpark and features five tracks mostly about confronting and overcoming conflict, but there’s definitely one tune about lust. The collection of songs will be released winter 2019 on the brothers’ own Eugenia Hall Records.

-While in the studio, the group would reference and channel the music of Serge Gainsbourg, The Zombies and America, to name a few.

-Ben and Michael found the recording process to be truly collaborative and thoroughly enjoyable. Furthermore, they feel that Pat and Alaina are “the real deal” and “exactly what we hoped they would be like.”

-A discerning ear would say the new music feels like a healthy evolution of the Airpark sound with an emphasis on soulful vocals, drums that groove particularly hard and the occasional nod to ‘70s pop jams. The first single ‘Devotion’ is a shining technicolor example of all of the above.

-The record was mastered by Mark Chalecki at Little Red Book Mastering in L.A. He’s also worked with Cass McCombs and A.A. Bondy, whom Ben and Michael are big fans.

-What’s next you ask? Heavy fall touring. The live show has taken on new life with frontman Michael using a mid ‘60s Hofner violin bass that sounds fantastic and enhances the aforementioned “particularly hard” groove found in their songs. Witness it for yourself in a major city near you…

About Seamstress:

Listen | Watch Video

Seamstress was born Gabriella Chavez December 3rd, 1991 in Hoboken , NJ. At an early age, she found solace in art. Exploring the visual arts then traveling towards music she used the mediums to make sense of the chaos that ensued around her. Exposed to heartbreak at an early age, Gabriella began to quickly survey the different corners of her emotions. Using songwriting as a tool to communicate that which she couldn’t always understand, her experiences have greatly shaped the beautifully haunting sound for which Seamstress has come to be known.

Gabriella met the other half of Seamstress, Charlie Sztyk, in early 2013 through friends in the local NJ music scene. Their debut EP, “Gabriella,” was released independently in August 2014. Produced, recorded, and mixed by Charlie in their home studio dubbed “The Belly of the Whale,” Seamstress created a body of work all their own. They later released their single “Weak Too” in March 2017. As of 2019, they have released their latest single, “Everything”, and are writing and recording new material, anticipated for release throughout the year.

Seamstress is an indie-rock band with folk roots that explore and push the definition of the genre. Plaintive, powerful vocals express vulnerable songs about love found and estranged and a relentless hope and need to carry on. Finding strength in fragility, Seamstress has cultivated a catalog of moving songs that entrance every listener. Their sound has often been compared to Cat Power, David Bazan, Sharon Van Etten, and Bright Eyes.

Seamstress is Gabriella Chavez & Charlie Sztyk.

About ManDancing:

Listen | Watch Video

Given the winter the East Coast has just survived, it's appropriate to emerge from the bleakness with a record that eases out of its own icy shell. ManDancing's Everyone Else emerged in winter 2016, prior to political shifts at home and abroad, but carries no less weight than it did when quietly released online. In fact, this record from five New Jersey residents seems more potent than ever with its 2018 reissue. It's at once intimate and ferocious, a windswept combination of hushed pronouncements and gasped confessions.

ManDancing's emotional compass magnetizes to vocalist and rhythm guitarist Stephen G Kelly, whose voice wavers between confidence and catharsis. The spectral nature of his delivery is a genre in itself. It waxes elegiac on the alt-country sway of “stones (again) ((and again))” as percussion spikes and splinters behind it, before breaking free into a desperate wail. It's this upward curve that carries the arrangements forward, a force that could explode any moment into something unpredictable, warped, yet altogether fitting of such visceral songwriting. Even the song titles match this uncertain nature, tacking on parenthetical comments as notes from the East Coast music scene and Kelly's fumbling conscience.

Above all, Everyone Else promises a narrative that finds its characters trying to define their own independence. Is it more isolating than liberating? Amidst the haze of young adulthood, the beer cans, and the skipped house shows, ManDancing navigates what it's like to feel positively undone and unlimited at the same time. It's hard and it's an impossible thing, but it's always part of growing older.
