Event Details

CaribFunk is a fusion technique developed by A'keitha Carey

Check out the workshop page for CaribFunk class videos, A'kietha's bio and class description.

CaribFunktechnique is a 21st century mutation of foundational dance, fitness, and somatic paradigms. Carey has taken elements of classical ballet, modern (Graham, Horton, and Limon), Pilates, yoga, fitness, and Afro-Caribbean (traditional and social) techniques and created a system of movement that has several entry points.
