The Caribbean & African Faith Based Leadership Conference (CAFBLC) is hosting our fourth annual conference under the theme: Civic Partnerships for Economic Development. This year, all our attendees are invited to join our delegation at the Congresional Black Caucus CBC African Brain Trust, policy forums, and faith leaders brunch and receptions at the 47th Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) at the Walter E. Washington D.C. Convention Center, 801 Mount Vernon Place, NW, Washington DC 20001 and the Marriott Reinassaunce D.C. Hotel at 999 9th Street NW Washington D.C., 20001.

b. Friday Sept 22nd 8:00am to 5:00pm Congressional Black Caucus African Brain-trust & Congressional Policy Forums in Convention Center

6:00am to 10:00am Congressional Black Caucus Annual Prayer Prayer Breakfast

10:00am to 2:00pm Faith Leaders Policy Brunch sponsored by Congressman Elijah Cummings at the Convention Center.

In your capacity as faith and civic leader, diasporan, diplomat, business professional and student leader, you are invited to participate and encourage others in your network to support the event. We are encouraging all organizations to advertise your business or ministry in our program booklet, attend the conference and awards gala, and encourage your network to come and fellowship with leaders from our African and Caribbean community. We are anticipating the usual support from our African and Caribbean faith and civic institutions, diplomats, business professionals, congressional representatives, associates of the United States government faith-based cabinet offices and representatives from our Caribbean and African Student Associations. We are anticipating your usual guidance, recommendations, referrals, and any additional resources or assistance that you can offer to ensure the sucess of this community building event.
