Anyone wishing to obtain or renew their CPR / First Aid Certification is welcome to attend this in-person, day-long workshop. For those who provide respite care for individuals with developmental disabilities, this will fulfill the CPR/First Aid training certification requirement for 2 years. The class will also provide tips, tools and strategies on emergency preparedness for those caring for children or adults with special needs.

This workshop includes:

  • American Heart Association CPR / First Aid training certification (Infant, Child, Adult)
  • Tips, tools & strategies to remain prepared in the case of an emergency or disaster.
  • Lunch will be provided on site.

Two classes will be offered on this day at Northminster Presbyterian Church: one in English and another in Spanish. Attendees are asked to choose their language preference on the registration form.

This workshop is valued at over $100. Thanks to a grant from the Community Emergency Response Volunteers of the Monterey Peninsula (CERV), Special Kids Connect is able to offer this opportunity for only $40 per person.
