According to the Center for Responsive Politics the 2012 election was the most expensive in history with some $6 billion being raised and spent. The political sector is thriving and filled with opportunties for women not just as candidates but professionals as well. The Political Institute for Women trains women not just to run for office but to pur their finance, marketing, communcations, social media and management skills to work in the political sector.
The Careers in Politics Workshop is for women considering careers in politics. Session cover specialties from fundraising to advocacy to social media consulting.
