Event description

Description

It can feel daunting to even consider taking the next step in your nonprofit career, never mind actively applying for a new job. You might feel lost, without any sense of direction.

Welcome to Career Mapping! Through careful evaluation, an honest inventory of your strengths and weaknesses, and a vision of your future professional self, you can achieve the career of your dreams.

This workshop is presented by Nurys Harrigan-Pedersen, President of Careers In Nonprofits. Refreshments and a light, healthy breakfast will be provided.

In this Career Mapping Workshop, you will:

  • Learn how to take an honest inventory of your professional strengths and weaknesses
  • Map out your career history by looking at your past roles, current role, and future roles
  • Determine skills or experience gaps that stand between you and your next great opportunity, and discover how to close those gaps
  • Leave with a personalized Career Map to guide you in your career for years to come

Just when you think things are going south, we’ll help you find your true north.
