Event description

Description

An insightful and interactive workshop that aims to increase awareness of what might be holding you back in your career. The session will draw upon research from positive psychology and the impact of our own self-limiting beliefs. In addition to reflection and the reframing of our goals, the session will have interactive elements, enabling the group to engage fully with the following key areas:

  • Career development resilience
  • Positive psychology
  • Exceeding your own goals
  • Building a portfolio of success.

As a result of attending this session you will be better able to evaluate your own career development needs and to identify what steps you need to take if you want to progress.

This session is open to all Professional Services staff, but would be particularly useful for support staff wishing to progress to an administrative or other related, Grade 6 or above, role.

Facilitator: Paul Compton, People & Organisational Development

Themes: Growing and developing in my current role, Making the most of the opportunities available to me.

Light refreshments will be available.
